Welfare Party of India extends support to the Bharat Bandh on 8th December, called by Farmer’s unions.
National President of Welfare Party of India Dr SQR Ilyas in a press statement said Welfare Party, a value based political party has always stood for the legitimate rights of farmers and labourers who have been the back bone of the country.
He said Party will whole heartedly support the Bharat Bandh on 8th December 2020 called by the Farmer’s union.
He condemned Modi government for introducing the contentious farm laws which are anti farmers and pro corporates, with no assurance given to the farmers on the Minimum Support Price.
He urged Modi government to give up arrogance and immediately stop inhuman treatment towards the agitating farmers and accomodate their legitimate demands and roll back the contentious farm laws.
