Welfare Party observed 6th December as black day throughout the nation and submitted Memorandum to the President of India.
Welfare Party of India called the judgement of Babri Masjid demolition Case and the politics around it foul.
National President of Welfare Party of India Dr SQR Ilyas expressed deep anguish on the anniversary of Babri Masjid demolition day (black day) and said the two great democratic institutions of the country Supreme court and the CBI had failed to the Muslim citizens of the country.
He said the Apex court which is the custodian of the constitution and which guarantees justice to all the citizens including Muslims, failed them and gave a strange verdict in which the observation and the conclusion did not match, even though it held demolition of Babri Masjid was illegal & unconstitutional act and the honorable court very dishonorably gave the Babri masjid land to the party guilty of the demolition.
He said the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) the highest investigating agency behaved like a caged parrot and failed in conducting free and fair investigation and acquitted all those who were responsible for demolition, stating lack of evidence as an excuse, when plenty of evidence was available with the government and the private agencies even though the ibrehaan Commission had also categorically stated that the demolition was a conspiracy of the Sangh Parivar.
Dr Ilyas demanded the CBI to challenge the CBI Lucknow court verdict and bring to book the culprits (karsevaks) and seek justice in arbitrary and discriminatory manner in which (in)justice was done to meet specific political objectives of BJP party should be challenged.
He implored to awaken the national conscious of the country to the discrimination and injustice melted out towards the Muslim citizens in respect to their place of worship, the Babri Masjid.
On 6th December various programs such as Seminars, Symposia, Protest demonstrations will be conducted by the Party and a Memorandum to the President of India requesting him to direct the CBI to challenge the CBI court verdict in higher court will be submitted.
