Welfare Party of India strongly condemned the growing lawlessness in Uttar Pradesh and demanded resignation of CM Yogi and imposition of president’s rule and high profile enquiry under the supervision of the Supreme Court into the murder of Atiq Ahmed and his family members.
National President of Welfare Party of India Dr SQR Ilyas strongly criticised, the gruesome murders of Atiq Ahmed & his family members and called it terrorism nurtured under the patronage of power.
He strongly condemned the growing lawlessness and anarchy in the state of U.P with daylight murders and encounters and added that the crime rate is increasing because the criminals recieve impunity from the present dispensation.
He said, ” If Atiq Ahmed was guilty the law would have taken its due course, we live in a civilized society and not ruled by jungle law,
the judicial system and rule of law should be honoured by all in letter and spirit”
Dr Ilyas said, “through these gruesome murders and encounters the present dispensation is promoting religious polarization and hatred, finishing off the opposition leaders, negating testimony against favourable politicians, promoting terrorism,anarchy & impunity and destroying India’s image globally.
Dr Ilyas demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Yogi, high profile enquiry under the supervision of the Supreme Court into the murders of Atiq Ahmed and his family members and demanded the dismissal of the state government and imposition of President’s rule with immediate effect in Uttar Pradesh.
